R2v3 (Responsible Recycling version 3) is a globally recognized certification standard for electronics recyclers, developed by SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International). R2v3 certifies recycling facilities — not individual products — ensuring they meet rigorous standards for environmental responsibility, data security, and worker safety. Equipment processed by certified facilities is graded across two dimensions: Functional (F1–F6) and Cosmetic (C1–C9).
